Empathy Middle school launched in January 2022 as an addition to the beautiful family run Empathy Primary School. Our Co-founder Zach has been delivering our full DVLS curriculum to a growing cohort of students.

Classroom without walls

Students at Empathy have a full biophilic connection with the local flora & fauna and the local culture in our bamboo structured, open air classrooms, surrounded by rice paddy fields.

Permaculture Garden

Students have built a large permaculture garden to produce food for the school kitchens and they have helped design a nutritious, sustainable and ethical vegan menu for all the students.

Outside learning

We take our students on regular trips outside the school to help them connect with each other, the local community and the local ecosystem.

Farmers Market

Our students run a monthly farmers market for the local community, learning about commerce, trade and civic responsibility.

Chatmore is another beautiful family run independent school in the heart of Bermuda. From September 2023 they are delivering our DVLS curriculum as a hybrid model with iGCSEs to their high school students and are working towards an external accreditation for our DVQs (Da Vinci Qualifications).

Beautiful environments

Chatmore is set in a stunning Bermudan villa, surrounded by lawns, woodlands, vegetable gardens, etc. and the sea is a short drive away in all directions. Students make regular visits to the local marine biology labs to study the ocean.

Cooking

On our January 2023 pilot at Chatmore the students considered the ethical and sustainable issues around our diets and all designed delicious vegan burgers.

BE Time

Students are able to practice BE time silent reflections sitting in the branches of this ancient tree, listening to the local bird song.

DVLS Projects

During our pilot, students also battled Roman Gladiators in our Multiverse Games pathway, designed a company that could improve the world in Enterprise and  created a symbolic emblem to represent themselves in PEP.
